I create Japanese-inspired lighting entirely by hand, using wood (oak) and washi (Japanese paper). I also create the motifs on the various washi using the linocut technique (an artisanal printing technique). I'm passionate about Japanese culture, and more specifically its traditional arts and architecture, which is a major source of inspiration for me, both for the materials I use and for the design of my linocut creations and motifs.
